Beautiful! So many snapshots parallel to our family’s stories. Our 26 yr old daughter’s medical chart still lists “adopted” as a diagnosed condition. We met our son’s birth mom at a McDonald’s. Now he’s 29 and they’re Facebook friends. I still need to remember I’m a good enough mom. Very grateful to their birth moms.
I love that it's snapshots, vignettes, and the way that they're sequenced is perfect. Some bitter, some sweet. Just right! Thank you for writing and sharing.

Lovely.
I love the heart and happiness you’ve conjured here, around the core of melancholy that is Martha’s hard decision.
thanks Rona, it’s so important to do so, for the sake of baby, and wouldn’t be possible without the generosity and goodwill of Martha
This was such generous, beautiful writing. Thank you for sharing it.
Thank you, Sarah

Thanks Tom, sequencing is tricky but I find that it can also be kind of fun!
Wonderful.
I’m crying of joy and anger, but mostly joy. Isn’t it great when you realise that Mother’s Day is every day? Happy Mother’s Day Anna.
Thanks Ana. It is great!
Beautiful.
Yeah, that's the real stuff. Life and writing.
What a beautiful recounting of a life (actually "lives") changing event.
loved reading this. Manny is a lucky guy to have all of you.
We are all so lucky. Thanks Deirdre
Yes I think that’s why I loved reading this so much, it’s the way it was meant to happen.
oh man, this one is killer. I'm so happy for all of you. That kid of yours is a wonder. And so are you.
Thank you so much Mary.
