As usual editing with macular, degeneration is difficult. Many errors.

Another comment: when I read the stories that your dad wrote about other folks in Klamath County – – and sometimes about himself, there is a truth about his own life within those stories. I personally had heard most of the stories from your dad long before they were written down. So when I read those stories, all the memories of those climber face come back to me. Therwas a truth in your dad’s reading about his own life within those stories. Fund d days. Days of new experiences and adventures. Days to remember.

The story of two breakfasts, two parents, two people who existed before you and little glimpses of their earlier lives. Brilliant, Anna!💕

You entranced me with your writing. Did your Dad influence you? What did he write?

Thanks Ron. I learned a lot from my dad, Max Schott. He wrote a book called "Ben" and "Up Where I Used to Live" and "Keeping Warm"

I felt transported by this. Each parent seems to hail from such a different world, but similar in their unconventionality. The beach at dawn sounds so lovely, with the fire and the eggs and bread. I love old Beetles so much. The VW vans were amazing, too.

Such lovely, dreamy childhood memories. I hope you write more of this.

Thanks Rob. I grew up to become the proud owner of 2 VW buses! (At different times)

Now I really want some butter-fried eggs and bread.

What a childhood. I love your blithely eccentric parents.
