I love this! You are a part of what inspired me to do my own collection of these so I will happily read the ones I've missed to catch up and anxiously await your next entry in this work. And I know a thing or two about this human canine relationship of which you speak. Wogart sounds like an amazing life partner and you were lucky to have him :)
The wolf in him sounds a lot to a cat to me! You sound like you were a true pack, bless. I loved this and I wish he could've lived forever! Now where is my own dog, he needs to be pet right this moment.
Okay, I have a long-standing dislike of dogs; I’m not sure when it started because as a child, I loved them. But your story is the first time I’ve connected with a dog in over 30 years. Thank you.
I'm on my fourth Maltese, and all have had distinct personalities and ways of communicating. Massimo is 15 months old, and I'm even more anthropomorphic about him than the others. Your story inspires me to think that perhaps there is something to the super-human-canine connection I feel with this critter.
I've always wished i could explain to my Sophie that we would be back when we leave her for a few hours or when we go on a trip and she stays with her third parent, our housekeeper. But you're right that I'd lose the communications of love we exchange through touch, gesture, and our expressions.
Wogart knew he was very well loved. Of that i am certain.
Thank you. I read somewhere once that if we say "I'll be back," as we're leaving, and then "I'm back," as soon as we return, they understand and it comforts them. So I always do that. Not sure if it helps my dogs but at least it makes me feel better!
Sounds like a great dog! What a wonderful friend:)
This is beautiful, he sounds like a great wolf/dog/dude
Thank you, he was!

Oh wow! I've never had a dog like Wogart before or after... it was the wolf in him.
Maybe I like wolves, then!
Whoa. Very cool.

Anna,
I've always wished i could explain to my Sophie that we would be back when we leave her for a few hours or when we go on a trip and she stays with her third parent, our housekeeper. But you're right that I'd lose the communications of love we exchange through touch, gesture, and our expressions.

I always say, "I'll be back," but now I'm going to add, "I'm back." Thanks for the tip.
I'm accepting this as 100% true! Thank you.
Cooool Dude Dog, Wogart!
(My Tatijana, she was a Cool Dude-ess. So Lady-like!)
Beautiful Sentients, they just happen to look like dogs. We lucky 💙🧘🏻♀️🌌
Wogart sounds like the coolest dog of all time. Legend
